Something I've noticed.
PHD students feel a HUGE pressure to 'have all the answers' or know everything in the questions after a talk. This is the main reason many are terrified of Q&A.
This is ridiculous and we've got to create a cultre where it is ok to not know.

You don't have to do Q&A at the end
You can do it earlier leaving you 5mins to wrap up. This lets you control the last thing they see and hear, rather than teh quesions.

Having a bit of a "what's the point of it all day" - general lack of motivation but irritation with being bored.
