It doesn’t matter how much you change your beliefs when the organization that you operate within will not question or change theirs, thus they inflict harm upon people.
This is why I take issue with the church as a whole.
It does not matter if I root out all of the misogyny in my belief system if the church still spreads the idea that women are less than.
No one should have to constantly pick through and “chew the meat, spit out the bones,” it should all be healthy.
With Meta rolling out AI accounts that you apparently can't block?, what is even the purpose of social media anymore? No one in real life engages on anything I post, yet we sit watching each other's life updates forever, my Instagram gets ignored, which is fine. These places are supposed to be about fostering community, and in truth, they've barely done that. If it weren't for my online friends from Twitter, which I now also don't use, I wouldn't use Facebook at all. I wonder what is the point?
Is anyone still on #facebook I'm kind of thinking about signing out of that one next. All I do is post positive teaching things so I can look back on them. No one I know in real life hardly interacts with my posts. It just feels like a bunch of people watching what I do, but never interacting.
