Next plausibly warm day, and my Australian shepherd who is not into brushing and who now has a full and felty coat is getting the traditional February shave.

For those dealing with #LongCovid: my wife has been on Zepbound, a GLP1, and her symptoms are vastly improved. She can exercise gently without a metabolic crash, and her brain fog is much reduced. I wish I had enough money to actually help people whose problems would be largely addressed by having enough money. Heck, we could skip the middleman: I wish those people had enough money to have stable food, housing, and healthcare.

When I put out birdseed first thing in the morning, I sing out "Birds, birds, birds!" Our Lady of Sitting knows this, and she was first to arrive today.

I accidentally scared off Our Lady of Sitting this morning, and it seemed like a bad omen, so I put out more seed for her. She not only returned but chased off the two little brown jobs eating seed with her. Defend your right to sit today, everyone.
