So Discworld is made up of a lot of smaller series of books. Many characters and things will cross series, but each has it's own feel.

Personally I'm a big fan of the Witches series. It technically starts with Equal Rites but you could also jump in with Wyrd Sisters.

I also think Guards! Guards! is a solid entry point. And you can never go wrong with Mort. It all really depends on what you want to read about.

I did the yoga class last night. The pain had largely let up but my whole body felt tight and uncomfy.

The class was brilliant, truly. The instructor's energy is perfect for me, very welcoming and fun and just a lil cheeky.

There's another class in an hour, I think I'm gonna do it :)

A very nice gentleman with a lovely southern drawl at Williams Sonoma customer service line sent me out a replacement, no hassle.

You know what makes me sad? The whole "Rest is good!... You'll be more productive later" mentality.

We exist, we can rest. We do not have to justify it. And framing it as a way to be more productive later just misses the point in the most depressing way. Capitalism and the Puritan work ethic gonna kill us all.

People who have had covid (I'm testing neg but feel unwell so operating as if I do), or those in the know:

What's the thinking on crafting while sick? Not like long covid brain stuff, but about like, how long it can remain on fibers?

I'm probably being paranoid, but paranoid has helped this to be the first time I've had any real worry about infection. (Well minus March '20 when I came back from Europe just as everything was locking down, but I legit did not know any better when I left!)

Haven't done a full ichiju sansai dinner in a long time.

I need to do this more often.
