    @solidsanek I am picky as heck with puzzle games - I love Layton ones because the puzzles are really good /and/ they care a lot about making a quirky world and entertaining story for the puzzles to live in! (Though I haven't played any by the new puzzle masters)

    And I like ones like picross because I like that puzzle format. If I don't like the puzzle format enough to be okay with no character, I don't play. Picross is like sudoku but more fun.

    There's few games out there that do what Layton did and work with actual puzzle masters and then find a way to make it accessible to everyone.

    @solidsanek I played it again recently and it holds up so well :ablobmeltsoblove: (some of those teensie doctors aside, oof, but those are a handful of cutscenes)

    Also love all the silly side content things, especially the ones made up to be a home video series of how to kill Rayman!

    It still has some of my most favourite music combined with gameplay and level design ever.

    @solidsanek Ooooooh new work playlist! (I've been listening to Rayman 3 and 2 extended OST lists which are awesome, and Katamari which is awesome, but more is better and this is perfect)

    @solidsanek didn't realise it had time trials until right now though, should go back to it for that, competitive picross with no limit but just "do it as fast as you can" is my kinda thing

    Which is weird 'cause I'm generally not a competitive player at all, stresses me out usually

    But now I'm thinking about it, if someone made a competitive Layton game I'd play that, too

    I maybe just like puzzles :acat_hmm:

    @lain FE is a bit too heavy on old phone so I'm reliant on Husky as only performant phone app for it, and Husky has no good emoji react support. (This is probably not something you can do anything about.)

    I've regularly heard complaints about the admin side of stuff and how hard it is to do things (specifically acting on and dealing with individual reports).

    Something going viral and notifications is a sad combination.
