@freemo Billionaires funded Trump. Billionaires bought the Suoreme Court. Billionaires own so many in the Congress. I’m talking about the US’s transformation into a complete oligarchy. Trump is their hired gun to destroy any rival to the billionaires’ political regime. Thanks to the technology, they no longer have to fear angry mobs. Undoing of human rights as we are seeing in Gaza serves them. They will use the same tactic to completely undermine every democratic institution.

The American billionaires have learned that it’s so easy to massacre people. Just call them terrorists and you can slaughter babies too. They control the media, politics and universities. I've lost any hope for humanity. If I can be reborn, I want to be a tree.

A view from my study. I'm fortunate enough to live in a nice wooded neighborhood near the city. I haven't done anything to deserve such a calm and peaceful Sunday. I was just born in the right country to middle class parents. Children don't choose to be born in conflict zones. Their parents didn't choose to raise their kids in conflict zones.

Why wasn't I born in #gaza #westbank #sudan ?
I just got lucky. The world is an unfair place.
Isn't it our moral obligation to reduce this unfairness?

Another day passes, and I feel a day less human.

Even ER doctors break down in tears recounting what they saw in #Gaza. Only a handful of Western countries think this is totally OK, it’s just unfortunate civilian casualties. The destruction of all universities, most residential buildings, water desalination facilities, places of worship, hospitals, etc. is a crime against humanity.

It’s so wrong that the media is discussing the biological details of young female athletes. This is not the first time. I’m sure that the very top female athletes in the world have elevated levels of testosterone. Some years back, another black female athletes were subjected to all kinds of tests. If we are going to police the biological details, why not police the muscle types they were born with? Or why don’t we police the economic advantages that US athletes have?

Winner-takes-all or First-Past-the-Post (FPTP) systems manufacture landslide victories when there's no majoritarian winner. These systems become extremely volatile when there are more than two parties in each district. When the manufactured majoritarian winner acts like they have the popular mandate, they end up exacerbating political apathy. #uk and #japan are prime examples.

The governor of Okinawa is a child fathered by a US serviceman. There are lots of kids fathered and abandoned by US servicemen even today.
