Tbh one thing fedi is unique with is it having custom emojis at all.
First when I got on board here I thought it's so relieving it's basically the same as discord emotes but with no limit so you can completely go nuts with it. Well, yeah, forums can have custom emojis too but tell me how many did you see with an actual fun plethora of them.
But yeah having unlimited unrestricted custom emojis alone makes its vibe like nothing else

Tbh I see on my TL so many people be upset by Hetzner but I throw the blame more on Cloudflare.
In truth I don't think Hetzner really cares about a Yuri pic, they care about their rep, they care about complying with a giant such as Cloudflare. imo this became an issue simply because Cloudflare started it.

@puniko @kurukuru redis not doing multithreading can be mitigated my running multiple and a proxy in front (sharding) when the application supports connecting to only one. but yeah splitting it up in the software's config sounds like a neat idea

@puniko @kurukuru huh it has been fine to me lately. but yeah for a while it was quite slow, redis was using 100% cpu.. I was thinking about sharding it but the issue stopped
