I've moved the @glitchdotcom bulk downloader over from a GitHub gist to a real repo, over on https://github.com/pomax/glitch-bulk-downloader, and folded in a community member's suggestions for also downloading archived projects.

Which makes a lot of sense. Those are your projects. Why did someone even have to remind me to include those??

Anyway, you may want to give that a new whirl if you already downloaded your projects before. Or if you wrote your own tooling, double check it includes archived projects, too =D

For anyone looking to bulk-download all their projects off of @glitchdotcom now that project hosting will come to an end in July, https://support.glitch.com/t/option-to-download-all-projects/75667/12 is relevant to your interests: I wrote a script to download all your projects, *with* asset downloads, so all you need to do is manually update your CDN links (which I didn't want to do because that's 100% going to go wrong in creative edge cases and you already have VS code or `sed` at the ready anyway).

#Glitch

Once up on a time I worked on the Mozilla Foundation's "Thimble", a friendly and educational simple web editor for making web pages on the web with the web for the web etc. and it was my favourite thing to work on.

That was killed off after years of limbo, and the Thimble community got migrated to a cool project called "Glitch".

Three years ago, I left Mozilla to join Glitch, and so today's news is particularly bittersweet. https://blog.glitch.com/post/changes-are-coming-to-glitch/

It'd be cool if browsers didn't come with all this "to prevent finger printing we've made it impossible to do things with precision" bullshit. Here's an idea: instead, you bake adblocking, script blocking, and third party domain blocking just part of "this is what a browser is supposed to let you control out of the box".

It's almost like someone should make a new browser based on you owning your browsing experience, not funded or owned by people who benefit from sabotaging your experience.

@anildash gonna be honest: this is what Steam streaming was invented for, and Apple hasn't caught up yet.
