Like it's actually fucking irritating because I spent years and years studying fascists so that I would be prepared for slick nazis to boil the frog with precision and immaculate timing, as part of some sekret mastermind's plan to install a fascist dictatorship right under our unsuspecting noses.

And then it turns out that Hitler 2.0 is an unhinged travesty of a man who just incoherently blurts out his nazi plans constantly; then does them.

And STILL Very Serious PeopleTM don't believe it.

My secret is that I actually listen to the things the empowered nazis say, and take them seriously. I mean yeah, sure a couple decades of reading books about fascism has made it easier to understand that the crazy stuff they say they want to do can work in the right twisted circumstances; but the reality is I listen to the shit the nazis say and don't go "oh they don't mean it" over and over and over again for 10 years while clucking softly "nevertheless..." when I'm wrong again and again.

Some advice; if you're talking to the kind of pendantic weirdo that thinks there is a meaningful difference between A) having no elections and B) having a rigged election run by fascists in which the predetermined winning candidate is running illegally in direct violation of the 22nd amendment of the US constitution, that's a mistake YOU made that I'd rather not be asked to join in on. Because I wouldn't give such a person the time of day.

You would be surprised at what being too disruptive, too expensive, and too numerous to shoot can accomplish. But you have seen hints of it; in Occupy Wall Street, that time we stormed Airports to stop ICE, the George Floyd protests. You just need to think bigger, with a clearer eye on what it's really going to take to fix the hellworld, and remember this time that any mutherfucker who tells you it's time to stop before the whole machine is gone, is your enemy.

Nobody said it was gonna be easy. Nobody said it was gonna be safe. Nobody said they won't try to fucking kill you because the one thing they will not surrender, even if it means installing fascism and burning billions of people alive to keep it, is capitalism and the hierarchal power necessary to maintain it.

But they started this class war, and you didn't get to decide. The gauntlet is thrown; either you do something, or it's fascism and death from here on out.

Choose wisely.

This is not to shit on any of the protests going on right now; I told you I'm extremely supportive of these beginnings. But I want you to take a look at what a protest march here looks like, and then take a look at what they look like in Turkey, or Serbia right now.

That's what "shutting it down" and "being ungovernable" look like. We're not there; but people rallying against oligarchs and acting to economically interfere with the richest nazi alive's ability to profit from fascism, is a start

Nothing works, nothing sustains, not the fascism, not the police states, not the fossil fuel driven capitalism killing us all, if it cannot be profited from. The fuck barrel will choke, the security forces will exhaust themselves trying to get us all, the hierarchies cannot be maintained without our complicity. You need to think long and hard about what "shut it down" and "become ungovernable" actually mean. They will apply force. It will get ugly. But we can win; they can't do any of it w/o us.

All this time, I am trying to tell you that the thing you do to stop Musk and his companies, is the thing you do to stop fascism, and is the same thing you do to end capitalism before these mad fuckers who care nothing at all for human life and dignity, boil us all alive.

I'm trying to explain it the best I can, but there's a limit to how much I can say in a fascist police state and that limit is not worth testing when I know you already know what I mean.

Shut it down. All of it.

Like, for example, this entire Trumpenreich machine has responded to questions or criticism about basically all the other awful shit they've done or been caught doing with "fuck you; terrorist."

THIS however? They're still lying about, badly, and trying to control the optics on, what, five fays later?

For some reason, this matters to them.

I mean all of this is reactionary dickwaving imperialist bullshit, but the fascist ideal/mythos the regime presents has to remain consistent - everyone is playing a part because the whole thing is a nazi reality TV show dependent on an unstable cult-figure who really doesn't seem to be paying that much attention. Everything about this leak, disagrees with the mythos in a way that I suspect the regime cares more about than anyone actually on the left would.

Like, imagine being in the messaging work group when they come up with this idea:

I mean those texts were a clear win for folks who're arguing that Hegseth is basically a sentient movie poster and was only chosen because he's entirely controllable; the guy is Secretary of Defense and he's asking a room full of 18 NatSec officials if the attack is good to go, and fanboying JD Vance's thoughts about Europe.

But Vance doesn't look better because he's asking questions you can tell he's afraid to ask Trump, he's not in charge here and in fact it's Stephen Miller who says "green."

I mean if you look at the Trump regime propaganda, and how the various members of Trump's fascist cabinet are positioned and marketed, the guys who sort of serve as a stand in for a fascist masculine ideal, in a way that an aging Trump really can't, are Hegseth and Vance. These guys are this pack of nazichucklefucks "ubermensch." And they both got exposed as incompetent toadies; not just b/c of the leak but because of how they behaved in the texts. I think that's why they're panicking like this.

All governments, even the most authoritarian regimes, rule by consent of the ruled, regardless of whether or not they acknowledge, or realize that fact.

It's just a question of how much sneering hypocrisy, imposition of unreality, and violent oppression we're collectively willing to take before the ruled, decide to remind the rulers, by whose authority they govern.

You don't have to be an anarchist or agree with me about how to organize society to get that; you just have to understand power.

The fact is, there's only three ways this ends and one of them I'm not concerned about because if it happens, I'm dead.

A) Trump wins and we do Nazi Germany 2.0

B) Trump's fascist agenda grinds to a halt because the regime meets so much resistance they can't successfully enact their full agenda.

C) millions of people get into the streets and we go full "shut it down" until doing fascism is impossible and the regime is deposed - one way, or another.
