@patrizia @leftpaddotpy thx. I still don't understand how that affects the discussion. There's a mother company that's more than capable to bring up the funds. Why should anyone donate to firefox? Why don't they give more working students a chance to have a look at firefox' code by paying them to do so?

No matter who brought it up. I did a post at the same time questioning it because mozilla send an email to everyone asking for donations.

I have no clue who that person is but it's nuts to move the center of discussion. I think that's called whataboutitsm, right?

I don't get it. #mozilla has a free #matrix service but no #email . It has the most relevant email app after #microsoft but noone uses #mozilla as a service provider.
