Leaves Of Three
Let It Be
...
My Entry
to the County Fair's Bonsai category
Pacific Poison Oak, a vine when grown in shade, a shrub in full sun, and arguable the most vibrant Fall Coloring of any native plant in my area, and one of the more toxic.
This specimen was almost sheep food (they love the stuff), but today is a fine day to celebrate beauty where it can be found, and this detested plant is going to enter a plant beauty contest :)
By its nature, the poison oak should be easily trainable.

Today was the first hatching of an egg in the incubator. It was a chicken with a fatal birth defect. It is part of the reality of Farm Life, and one that is rarely shared on social media.
Idyllic beauty and cute little things get clicks and follows; death does not.
In the end, one must remember that all life is death; and we should strive to end suffering where we can.

If I follow a link to your website in order to read something, and the first thing that happens is the content being covered by a modal asking me to sign-up for your ̶s̶h̶i̶t̶t̶y̶ ̶s̶p̶a̶m̶ email newsletter, I am going to assume you don't want me spending time on your site; and I will try to find the information I was looking for elsewhere. -

@perloid @ken_fallon @hpr the problem in my code, was the expectation that the first child node of root was "channel". Even though the root node had 1 child, the first child node of root was the comment and not the 'channel' node. -

@ken_fallon @hpr I've looked at the code as well as the RSS source, and everything worked as expected when I removed the first <!-- comment --> from the RSS.
Some damn lazy dev failed to properly ignore comments when parsing XML! -

@ken_fallon @hpr wow, what a splendid reminder of how much I dislike parsing XML.
