if your position is that people on jobseeker support are lazy bums why would you want them in the labour market. wouldn't you consider it an investment in productivity to keep them out of the hair of people who "actually want" to work

It blows my mind that noise pollution isn't front and centre in the transit discussion. A diesel bus coming every minute would still make our streets quieter if it means displacing a bunch of cars.
Like have you spent any time near a road? Why the fuck do we allow these noisy things through the places we rest and sleep?
