   anyone ever get the feeling that the reason it floods every time it rains is because we tore out all the dense native bush and replaced it with concrete for cars and barren fields for making milk powder

     @cestfleuve No need to insinuate it, you are 100% correct that's the case.
     
     I have a friend who works with people who are helping cities be better at rainwater retention by using e.g. green roofs.
