in other, more lighthearted news, that poll I ran the other day did something ive legitimately never seen happen before. It got just over 100 votes, all unanimously 'yes'. no trolling, no fuckery, no 'well actually's - i was very pleasasntly surprised.
the poll was asking if I should do a talk about plumbing sysadmin security skills into infosec, since im always on about starting somewhere else technical before security makes you a powerhouse.
I got ~20 talking points so far :D
