Was man genau erwarten kann, war erst letzte Woche bekannt und vorher wurde auch nicht viel mehr darüber geschrieben.

I use iPhones since the iPhone 7 and never had any problems with the Lightning port. Not once. But this thing isn't even a year old and I barely use the port…

For weeks I've been trying to persuade myself to finally go jogging again. Now I'm getting everything ready, turning on the music, taking the first step out the door... pouring rain.

Sorry for the spam. I just have no idea how to handle this currently.

Air have a "dumb" air conditioning unit. It has only an infrared remote and nothing more.

I thought about buying something to mimic the signal to add a remote in #HomeAssistant. But most of the time I use the same settings and just wanted to make it on or off.

So I put it in a smart plug for 5€ and add a finger bot for 6€ and voila. I have a smart air conditioning unit and can control it via Home Assistant and see it's status.

As a bonus I know exactly how expensive it is to run these things (holy cow 😱). But as I'm extremely sensitive to heat it's definitely worth it.

Time change pro tip: Just have a sick child.

Worry about the health of your child? Sleepless nights? Just feel exhausted all the time? Awesome! Your biological clock will never notice that the time shifted one hour!

And for a bonus: The sun rises and sets later than before and you've no idea why, as you don't notice that the time change was this weekend.
