Reading through a few job adverts, and this one popped out:

"Are you passionate about Jira, Confluence, and the Atlassian Cloud Suite?"

I guess we all do some pretending at work but putting that mask on every day seems a bit much.

@yacc143 well yes the sentence was written by someone who has probably never even logged into JIRA.

The reaction to #BBC joining the fediverse, is a demonstration of why we can't have nice things.

The BBC is a cultural powerhouse making a huge contribution to British society, promoting a diverse range of viewpoints and content.

It should be celebrated that such an organisation has chosen to join is a great day.

The poor state of the news org is a reflection that BBC executives are appointed by politicians and its coverage, often a reflection of the worst parts of society.
