@inthehands@_benui but my point is since electric cars are expensive as capital investment same with gas boilers the impact has to be big because consumers only have so much to give
It would be better to reduce travel and invest in local facilities and even legislating against companies making people go into offices for no reason.
The real production cost of producing cheap tat and shipping it round the world has to end too but nobody has faced up to the cost on the poor of that happening.

The focus has wrongly gone on climate deniers who are just a vocal minority rather than answers for the majority on what should be done.
We have a combination of very wealthy people proposing things such as electric cars and changes to boilers which in the big picture is just pee in the pool and very expensive.
People pushing their politics socialism disguised as "degrowth".
Or just generally throwing stones at the global North.
