We've reverted themes to default for all the users on the instance. We agree that you try these themes on new test accounts as these themes are not being maintained by friendica and probably have issues.
If you have other questions or need help, please don't hesitate to reach out to us
Could you try doing a hard refresh on your browser? Alternatively, you could try accessing your instance on a different browser to see if it loads correctly there.
If it’s still showing a blank screen, we can revert the theme back to the default for you. Just let us know, and we’ll get it sorted.
For your previous questions: - We have updated the version of Friendica - Yes, you can share any themes you want and we can add them - For the relays, we are not sure of exactly what you mean. Can you provide more details, please?
We’ve made some adjustments to optimize your server’s PHP configuration for better memory usage and also increased the swap memory file size. This should help with the Out of Memory (OOM) issues you’ve been experiencing.
In the meantime, we’re also exploring any permanent solutions that might prevent these memory issues without needing to scale up the hardware.
If you notice any improvement or ongoing issues, please feel free to let us know!
Just to help us investigate further, could you let us know which plugins you currently have turned on? This will help us test for any potential memory issues they might be causing and allow us to look into a more permanent fix if needed.
We’ve updated your server to version 2024.08, so you’re all set there. However, we’re noticing some Out of Memory (OOM) issues on your server that are causing processes to stop. This typically doesn’t happen on a new server, so we’re curious—are there any specific activities you’re running that might be putting extra load on the system?
This means the server will remain unavailable until the migration is fully complete, so any activity during that period will be on pause to keep everything synced up perfectly.
If you have any other questions. We’re here to help make this as smooth as possible!
Thanks so much for reaching out! We’d be happy to assist with your migration process.
Here’s how it works: we’ll provide you with all the necessary files, plus a complete database dump that you can pass along to your new hosting provider to set up your Sharkey server smoothly. To make sure no data gets lost during the transition, we’ll briefly shut down your server before taking the backup, which will prevent any changes to its state while the migration is in process.
To assist you better, could you please provide us with the plugins that are returning these errors? This information will help us identify the specific requirements and offer a more tailored solution.
It does seem like there might be a bug within Akkoma's system. It is not necessary for the admin to still have the moderator role as well.
We've removed the moderator role of the user. This adjustment could potentially resolve the issue you've been experiencing. We kindly ask you to test it out and let us know if the problem persists.
Is there a specific page or action you get these errors on? Then what user and role (admin/moderator/) of the user do you experience these errors with?
Kindly note that Akkoma only has admin and moderator roles and this shouldn't be about ownership. .
