@eira @hauntedhideaway at least bananas have a decent fried version

my newly upgraded adhd-proof work from home desk includes:

• A standing desk
• A platform to step on / step off while using the standing desk
• A tall active-sitting stool
• Several toys to hold or throw around
• Computer off the table so I can't spill tea on it

so far, i'm feeling pretty good about it!

@mybarkingdogs @bookstodon i think it'd be really interesting to do the world building of writing an investigative mystery in a not-carceral-state setting, like Le Guin's The Dispossessed, amidst the Catalonian anarchist front during the civil war, or I guess various indigenous movements throughout history, including modern day Zapatistas or Kurds

@annika LOL, no I only meant to imply that milkshakes in Germany are terrible. They are 90% milk with some ice cream that is blended intensely for several minutes.

Going to France next week and trying to reawaken the French language in my brain. At this point, I think I'm studying a different language every couple hours.
