Finally googled "ctrl-c not working" after months of "is it just my imagination?" and found some people blaming this kind of phenomenon on Windows 10. So many times I think I've copied something and then have to go back and copy it again (or is it again?)

My wife used the word トリセツ to talk about our toddler. It's an abbreviation of 取扱説明書(とりあつかいせつめいしょ) or "user's manual." But can also be applied to how to handle people, such as celebs (and small children).

Just about 10 years since I started working at Nippon .com
As I recall it, I started unofficially in mid-January before joining officially at the beginning of February.

寄り添う(よりそう)means to snuggle or cuddle up to somebody, like a child to its parent.

That's the dictionary definition, but recently I often see it used differently, without the physical sense, meaning to be kind to someone and try to understand their feelings.

@mario The Japanese dates are still often seen on forms, but it seems like they're slowly becoming less common.

Don't remember it coming up in my conversations that much to be honest. People use the less specific 昭和生まれ though, if I have heard it.

If I wanted to say it in a conversation unrelated to forms, I guess I'd go with the Western style myself.
