@lizzy@social.vlhl.dev I didn't say anything about ubuntu I just mean all distros have their weird quirks like the maintainers for keepassXC on debian just randomly deciding browser integration was a security risk even though it isn't, fedora refusing to remove bottles and other flatpak-native programs, and debian being stale with security vulns sometimes
I'm convinced that nobody at microsoft knows how to write an OS anymore. think about it, they worked on 10X for years, and gave up and ported their work to normal windows.
it's so silly seeing CS2 players using 8kHz polling rate with 400 DPI like no a higher polling rate isn't gonna do much if you're bottlenecking your mouse with a low DPI. you need to crank the DPI as much as you're comfortable and then lower the sensitivity in game if you use Raw mouse (which you should if you can) having 8kHz doesn't mean anything if you're sending less information from the sensor w/ a low DPI
@dalias@hachyderm.io@puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social I can also argue by the time you are using specific Microwave power levels you'd probably be better off using an air fryer or toaster oven (or combo) But best I could do you is a Toshiba inverter microwave air fryer that's $300 and has a knob but it's still digital. Probably has something to do with the tech required to pull it off or something
@puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social yes I did spend $15 more just to get a microwave with plain knobs no I don't regret it. best microwave I've ever owned.
@ChrisWere@toot.wales it's a bit bloated but it's a good one. it doesn't do everything but it's like 50/50 between necessities and "yea that's a cool feature I'll use it given the option"
I used a youtube extension to turn off the animated thumbnails and thumbnail video player and it makes youtube so much faster it's insane. the only thing I lose is the queue buttons and watch later, I have to use the ellipse menu. small price to pay for my sanity
