Many companies rush to sophisticated automation, burning time and money on systems they weren't ready for. So I built a tool to help you understand exactly what you need right now.
@pfefferle Maybe it just got held up in cache. I think when I do @alex it seems to work now, but it ends up changing it to `alex@www.alexstandiford.com` instead
@pfefferle@cdevroe oh cool. How experimental is this? Is it in a state where I can try it out/report issues? Or is it something you’re in the midst of building/figuring out?
@cdevroe@pfefferle yes me too! My site has fully migrated all of my historical content on X and I’m working on importing Instagram. Been publishing micro content through it for years now, just haven’t actually installed ActivityPub to start using it.
Wondering how effective it would be to use this account as a proxy, boosting content from my original site exclusively, and interacting with my feed with this account. Not ideal but still progress, I think.
I think the mobile app is one of the most important focuses for WordPress’ future. I’ve met many young professionals who view WordPress as “really old”. Our competitors aren’t just Wix and Squarespace - it’s TikTok, X and other mobile first publishing platforms.
@Ryanteck Yes, definitely, but even the rest of it should be a part of the mobile experience. Why shouldn’t I be able to build a website using my phone?
At WCUS, I’m connecting with Clients, Contractors, and Collaborators. Whether you're an agency needing help, a developer ready to create, or a potential partner for Siren Affiliates, let's connect.
haking up affiliate program management with Siren. Helping companies re-imagine pay for performance programs. Usually found in #WordPress circles. I Lived the RV-Life for 4 fantastic years. This profile is now just a proxy for my primary social - @alex. You can continue to follow this, but it's exclusively going to boost posts from my actual profile, so maybe follow that instead?
