    @allison @Pawlicker I would say it's worth it if you have one sitting around for some reason (I had one bc of my last job), but idk if it's worth going out to buy one for this exact purpose. When I violated mine in March or April support for newer models looked pretty spotty, though it does look like there is a lot more info now

    I like mine (2021 Acer CB314) bc it's super lightweight with respectable battery life, but it has weird issues that I haven't been able to fix like the Chrome-specific keys not being remappable/recognised and problems with the SD card slot (which is pain bc it only has 32 GB storage lmao). Otherwise it's pretty fine and extremely usable for what it is

    @Pawlicker I know this is a joke, but my chromebook running linux is uninonically one of my fav computers I own tbh. ChromeOS is absolutely useless garbage and it's 100% worth risking the brick to get rid of it

    (If it loses in any of these categories to BRC I will hang myself, the only one I’d maybe let slide is music. Everything else in BRC is wholly unoriginal lol)

    I wanna get a new GPU and I'm intrigued by some of the AMD offerings, though I'm not really familiar with their card lines. A lot of the info on their cards online is SO heavily biased against them that it's hard to get an accurate reading of whether or not they offer what I want :asukaBrood:

    I'm reading that there's been a lot of driver issues specifically for VR, though it's hard to tell if this is accurate or just an extension of the whole "AMD IS TRASH AMD HAS TRASH DRIVERS AAAAGGGGHH TRUST IN NVIDIA" that is so pervasive online

    On paper it looks like their cards are on par with or better than Nvidia equivalents for the price range, but it's so fucking hard to get good info when there's this weird brand loyalty war going on

    I've thought about it before but can't really justify the cost rn, esp living in a small apartment, though I would like to get something nice one day so I could have a decent experience outside of an actual arcade :beatoPout:

    The way that the LGBT community looped from "no more gender roles!" back to gendering based on what stereotypes you fit into is both hilarious and sad

    As someone who I guess fits into the male (feminine) category, it annoys me to no fucking end when people just assume feminine man = clearly you're actually a woman, like PLLLLEEEASSE. People can discover these things for themselves on their own, and there's no need to push dumbass assumptions based on stupid stereotypes onto them. Fuck
