I think that's now the second Tatsujin Ou 10m replay that's publicly available.

@allison The video I recorded for my Tatsujin 12m is around 25 GB, and that's about four and a quarter hours. With that Shark replay, probably looking at a few hundred GB at least. >.

Kind of surprising how I can jump back into these arcade games after not playing them in so long and still be able to play them at least somewhat competently.

@allison Yeah, I suppose it wouldn't take too long to adjust to playing shmups on an 8-way. That said, I'd also want to get a 4-way gate so I can also play Pac-Man/Donkey Kong/Galaga etc.

@allison I'd have to relearn how to play several different games, but anything to put less stress on my right hand is very welcomed.

@allison I don't think it'd take you too long to do. Once you've memorized the enemy spawns and learned some important recoveries, the remaining challenge comes from adapting to the bullets getting slightly faster with each loop.

@allison I haven't played it in forever, but I think I remember enough about it to where I could teach you some pretty hot strats.

Anyone here want to learn how to play Tatsujin well enough to be able to play it to 10 million points?

I kind of miss playing shmups. I kind of miss playing arcade.

@freon I take no issue with protecting yourself from RSI and carpal tunnel. I use autofire for most shmups that don't have it built-in.

Cheating at arcade games, huh... I'll allow it if it's something like cheating a rigged crane game for a prize, but I'd better not catch any of you cheating your way to a high score or a 1cc.
