We control it by planting Geraniums, especially Rozanne. The goutweed doesn't stand a chance once the Geraniums are out, but we leave enough for cooking

The paradox is that real experts will rarely venture to comment on other fields of knowledge, unless they are absolutely certain of what they are talking about

Even if their knowledge in that field is much higher than the average person

For me, 'program' is too wide a definition to answer the question accurately

It encompasses a wide spectrum from optimising microcode for risc processors, to having the ability to change the times on your central heating boiler via the UI

Generally, the further along the spectrum you go, the more advantageous it would be for people to learn those skills

But the short answer is strong disagree

Not everyone needs to. or has the inclination to 'program' stuff

This is significant ...

The German office for data protection and freedom of information hosts the official #Mastodon server for government departments

They are now calling for all ministries on the server to put their focus on Mastodon

They are also asking ministries which are not yet on Mastodon to join as soon as possible
