We've got goutweed in our backyard at our country house. Aegopodium podagraria is a very invasive Eurasian plant brought to North America as ground cover. Today, we made pesto out of the leaves. It was delicious! It makes me feel a lot better about pulling buckets and buckets of it out of the ground.

We control it by planting Geraniums, especially Rozanne. The goutweed doesn't stand a chance once the Geraniums are out, but we leave enough for cooking
