Got to say Yu Zheng may be a plagiarising twit but the production house he created has a gift for creating artistically beautiful #cdramas: Winter Begonia, Yanxi Palace, Hao Lan.

Excited that their genius costumer (who also worked on the fab outfits in The Double) has been hired for the Bai Lu/Joseph Zeng #xianxia Lin Jiang Xian series Yu Zheng will produce for iQYi in 2025.

I started Escape for Joonie but got completely tangled in the plot - if I start again I will need a wall, pushpins, photos, red markers, string to keep everything clear!

@liztai I’ve enjoyed The Double esp. first half. Regeneration cdrama is a good mystery.

As for kdrama: Have you watched Misty yet? Slow burn murder mystery. Superb pacing. I liked Connection too but I enjoy ML in anything.

Flex x Cop is lighter & a bit sillier than I thought it’d be but surprisingly watcheable - pacing good. More of a series of whodunnits than tense suspense arc.
