I woke up this morning thinking that Trump built a cult from about 2012 when Obama was re-elected. Cults only get larger, never smaller. Like all strong men or cult leaders, they rule in fear. Could it be that this country collectively was Afraid NOT elect him? Afraid of the tumult that would have been caused when he rejected the results. There is just too much here. Smarter people are going to have to figure this out. I just have to figure how I’m going to deal with today.

I have a feeling that #Trump2.0 agenda is so extreme that it will eventually be their downfall. As soon as people start seeing other people getting ripped out of their homes, babies screaming, mothers sobbing, employers losing workers, nobody go pick the strawberries or cut the lawn, prices jacked up triple due to the tariffs and lack of workers. Just can’t wait to see the reaction of all those Trump voters.

@notroot @palin Thats exactly what I said in this mornings post. Could it be that the Republicans are right. We've let in too many immigrants that come from countries that all they know is autocratic rule and are not comfortable with democracy? Just a thought.

Since I only have about 40 followers, I would appreciate as many boosts as possible as it is hurricane related. The Iphone 14 and above has the capability to send messages via satellite. You have to install IOS18 then swipe down from top right to get the utilities screen. You can then do a demo by touching the satellite icon. Evidently it only works if you do not have cell data or wifi available.

What is the maximum number of characters allowed in a Mastodon post? I’ve noticed some posts are quite long but I tried a long post and found I had exceeded the character count after a short paragraph.
