@abolisyonista I am not arguing voting is the only way to have any impact. It is and should be one of several measures we can take. The things you mention should and do make many of us very angry and voting alone is not the answer. In fact other actions have historically shown themselves to be more effective at times on some of these matters. But I would not discount voting altogether.

Not voting is the only sure fire way to make sure your voice doesn't count. Voting may seem fruitless but it is one of the few options with a chance of being fruitful.
As Winston Churchill once said: democracy is the worst form of government ... until you consider the alternatives.
