So @tikitu asked how I felt about non-pets, before spotting all the animals in the thread and urging me to just enjoy the beetle and not worry about hatting it BUT by then I'd already wondered about what it would look like in a steampunk top hat.

And I mean, I wasn't wrong. This hat could have been made for this wee beastie.
