I'd certainly be PISSED to find out that my wife didn't tell me if she was dying.

There's a thread on r/rpg about 'what do I do if I know I'm dying but the other players don't know?' and... I mean, oof?

But also it's 'we've been together for a few years but they're not my friends' and I'm STILL baffled by this 'we're not friends despite spending lots of time together regularly' sentiment.

Definitely have a few tooooo many projects on right now, so trying to finish up on at least one of the siterips or something to close those options down a bit.

It is muggy and hot out there, so today - I think - is gonna be a 'stay at home and don't spend money' day

... and I don't think I've ever encountered anyone who was a mobile dev who actually thought that the whole 'Gems/secondary currency to do anything' economy bullshit was actually GOOD and adding to the things they did.

This is my 'eternally dissatisfied with how mobile gaming turned out as an industry' face

Like, I get the 'not the bestest of friends' kinda deal, but... hours per week for years (that's, you know, a casual hundred hours per year if you do two hr sessions weekly) and... you're not friends?

I am still just astounded by how some folks will play rpg stuff with their group for 'a few years' and not consider each other friends?

At some point I'll decide to actually release some of these lewd coding projects, and frankly I don't have the opsec for that, so it's just gonna be 'that Kale guy who does lewd projects', I fuckin' guess?

So at the moment, I have [Task], and that's accomplished by a bunch of little scripts and I've actually popped together a nice UI that takes in tag information and lets you select tags, duration, intensity, and then generates a playlist.

This is decidedly not too shit, but now I'm confronted with: this might actually work.

It's been that kinda evening. It's (almost) 1am and fucked if I know what I've been doing and I'm roughly back where I started, but now the video clip sounds are on the sound mixer channel rather than the music mixer channel

Why did I *want* to do that, again?

You might think I'd be happy to get some code for trimming audio working after 2hrs struggling with ffmpeg in python being a piece of shit
