The constant loss of black life has been an intentional feature of the united states since its inception and I am tired of living in a burning house.

I AM FUCKING SICK AND FUCKING TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED.

Like, I am *actually* sick and tired of this country. The harm inflicted onto me due to living in this country has surely shortened my lifespan. The stress. This constant state of mourning. The gaslighting. The direct abuse, assaults and harrassment. And all of that's not the half of it. This country kills black folks slowly and quickly. I am not even thirty years old yet. I shouldn't be this tired.

There should be a green book for Black students looking at US colleges and universities.

But for now I'll tell anyone Black considering to STAY FAR THE FUCK AWAY FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE IN KNOXVILLE.

It was a very racist climate when I attended, and it hasn't improved in the decade and change since my freshman year there. I am still recovering from some of the things that happened to me, years after graduation.

Unless you have a deep network of people there already, AVOID.

Twitter has a been a hotbed for fascism pretty much the whole time. I was surveilled on there and then dogpiled by people calling me racial slurs and the like in like 2014. I'm one of many.

Tbh it's telling that some people only think it's fascist now. It's telling me those folks didn't engage with black folks in any meaningful way there and probably won't here either.

A white woman typed a 5 paragraph essay about talmbout it's unfair and racist that I called them white folks. Totally derailing the discussion of antiblack behavior because duh being offended at being called white is more important

also of course it was on some woowoo fairy witch cottage core group. honestly some white pagans are the fucking WORST
