Question of the day. Why can I see my wordpress blog on Calckey but not mastodon instances? @pfefferle@mastodon.social might have an answer. I notice that the address is https://calckey.social/@admin@www.main-vision.com on calckey. Specifically, I don't see it as a user that I can subscribe to. Time to RTFM.

@pfefferle@mastodon.social After our little exchange yesterday, I have finally started to take advantage of the power of the WordPress ActivityPub plugin. I like that I have my own Fediverse instance, without realising it. I initially thought that it just made sharing individual posts with a hyperlink easier. I didn't realise it worked as a full instance, minus some functionality of course.

@dansup@mastodon.social @pixelfed@mastodon.social Two questions. If I uploaded a three gigabyte zip file of my instagram backup would it crash your instance? How will you deal with the increase in server demand, and storage space requirements? I could experiment, but I don't want to crash your instance, or dramatically increase the hosting costs.
