Deque's #GAAD event started off with stramps as an example of well-meaning but terrible accessibility, and I'm glad I was working from home because I very literally screamed.
I find this article especially relevant. Even if someone personally believes that stramps in general are accessible, B.C. government considers this particular stramp to be ornamental because it fails accessibility audits, which makes it a questionable choice as a "good universal design" example to say the least.
