Yesterday, the IDF dropped grenades near peacekeepers working alongside Lebanese soldiers to provide security for civilian workers in Maroun ar-Ras. The workers were trying to clear the ruins of homes destroyed due to the war.
Around 11:30 am, peacekeepers at two different sites heard a grenade explode near an excavator, about 500 metres away from them.
Moments later, the first group saw a drone fly overhead and witnessed an explosion about 30-40 metres away. About 20 minutes after that, the second group saw another drone drop a grenade that exploded just 20 metres over their heads.
UNIFIL had informed the #IDF about the activity in advance, and immediately demanded that the firing stop. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the works eventually continued.
Attacks on peacekeepers or interference with their mandated tasks shows disregard for the safety and security of #UNIFIL peacekeepers and the Lebanese army, and the stability they are working to restore in south #Lebanon. Such actions also constitute a serious violation of Security Council resolution 1701...

At least 19,424 children have been killed in Israeli attacks over 700 days of genocide in Gaza, the equivalent of one child every 52 minutes.
Among the victims are 1,000 infants under the age of one.

Irish rap group Kneecap have cancelled their upcoming sold-out #US tour, due to band member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh’s next court hearing in #London.
In a statement, they said: “To all our US-based fans, we have some bad news. Due to the close proximity of our next court hearing in London on September 26 – as the British government continues its witch-hunt – with the start of the US tour, we will have to cancel all 15 US tour dates in October. With every show fully sold out, this is news we are sad to deliver. But once we win our court case, which we will, we promise to embark on an even bigger tour to all you great heads.”

They have continued to use their platform at various music festivals to speak out not against the Jewish people but against Israel's war in #Gaza.

BBC social media continues to reproduce the misleading headline "Israel-Hamas war". The article doesn't use that definition but the social experts know that few will click to read it, so only the title sticks in the mind.
So the BBC and the majority of the Western media after a whole year of Israeli massacres of civilians (documented even by the same media) in the Gaza Strip CHOOSE to be complicit in genocide.

BBC will be a case study of complicity on #genocide with the crimes of #Israel.
