Demolitions are the major component of the Israeli occupation of Palestine territories, according to a new EU report on Wednesday.
“Demolitions are a central component of Israel's settlement policy in the occupied West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem aiming at consolidating control over the land and limiting Palestinian development," said a report by the Office of the EU Representative to the West Bank, Gaza, and UNRWA.

The Israeli military conducted a large-scale raid on the West Bank city of Jenin and neighboring towns this week, killing at least eight Palestinians and arresting an unknown number of residents.
Troops, bulldozers, drones, helicopters, and warplanes attacked the area for two days before withdrawing on Wednesday evening.
Israeli forces have not released the bodies of two of those killed in the village of Kufr Dan, west of Jenin city.

Last week, the State of Israel hung the scalp of another Palestinian community on its belt after completing the demolition of Umm Al-Hiran.
On Nov. 14, hundreds of police stormed the Bedouin village accompanied by special forces officers and helicopters.
The residents, Israeli citizens who had long feared that this day would come, had already "self-demolished" most of the structures in the village to avoid having to pay large fines.

Israeli forces injured one of the only journalists left in north Gaza on Tuesday in an airstrike, after the military publicly threatened the Al Jazeera reporter with assassination in October.
The journalist, Hossam Shabat, said that he was “deliberately targeted” by Israeli forces when they carried out a seeming double tap strike — an illegal practice under international law — on a house late Tuesday night. Shabat was injured in the strike.

The U.S. Senate on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to block three resolutions that would have halted the transfer of some U.S. weapons to Israel, introduced by progressives concerned about the human rights catastrophe faced by Palestinians in Gaza.
All of the votes in favor came from the Democratic caucus, while "no" votes came from both Democrats and Republicans, underscoring the divide within President Biden's Democratic party.

The US administration plans to present a draft resolution to the UN Security Council to oppose Israel's control over the occupied West Bank, Israeli media said on Tuesday.

Former South African politician and arms expert Andrew Feinstein has warned that the “very real possibility” of a ban on Palestine Action would be a “fundamental attack on British democracy”.

Lebanon filed a new complaint with the UN Security Council on Tuesday regarding Israel’s ongoing military onslaught on the country.
A Foreign Ministry statement said that the complaint detailed Israeli violations and attacks in Lebanon from Oct. 2 until Nov. 11.
The complaint listed Israeli attacks on ambulances, rescue teams, and their workers [..] which resulted in the death of 11 paramedics.

Three Palestinians were killed by Israeli army fire in a military raid near the West Bank city of Jenin on Tuesday, a local official said.
Jenin Governor told Anadolu that three young men lost their lives after Israeli forces besieged and bombed a house and a mobile home in the town of Qabatiya town near Jenin city.
“Israeli forces damaged infrastructure and streets during its ongoing raid in the city and its camp since dawn,” he added.

Israel’s bombardment of Gaza continues, with at least four Palestinians killed in an attack on the so-called “safe zone” in southern al-Mawasi.

Settler leader Daniella Weiss has said she recently visited northern Gaza to scout locations for future Israeli settlements there.
She said she has the support of 740 families to establish settlements in the Palestinian territory and was hoping to grow support from "one to two million Israelis".
