Saw a message on BlueSky that resonated with me just now, about how autistic characters should be allowed to be villains.

And it made me realise. Someone’s gender, race, disability, gender identity etc shouldn’t be a factor as to if they’re a hero or villain in a story.

The issue with many forms of media is that it seems to go to two extremes:

1. Every member of a group is evil because [writer prejudice]
2. No member of a group can be evil because it could be offensive

Oh hey, someone I know made a new title screen for my #Mario ROM hack. If you can name the characters on it, have a cookie!

Gonna be honest, I feel like the ever growing shift towards ‘professionalism’ on #socialmedia has killed my interest in it stone dead.

Like, there’s no fun in #Youtube anymore when you need to be all professional to get even the slightest bit of engagement now. It’s gone from a hobby to work, except with less pay.

@golemwire dungeons were good, very traditional Zelda in style while being open ended in terms of how echoes could be used to solve puzzles. Bosses were varied and fun too.

Story was a mixed bag. The first half is very typical Zelda with heavy BotW/TotK influence, but the second half has a huge reveal that will surprise every Zelda fan…
