@BeAware gotcha, thanks for chatting about it though, it's nice that no matter what questions people throw out into the fedi, people are always willing to help or continue the chat. Everyone is so nice in here =)

@BeAware I found https://analytodon.com which gives some metrics, but it's only showing info based on activity on each post, like how many likes, how many boosts, it shows me how many people follow me, over time, etc.

It would be really good to see how many people actually viewed a post without necessarily interacting with it, I think Mastodon is missing a trick here.

@BeAware I see, would it not only really matter to the instance where the post originated though? I mean, if I post something I would want to be able to see how many people saw it, but, would you want to see how many people saw my post? Did I misunderstand your point?

#Mastodon users, is there a way to tell how many times a post has been viewed? Are there any metrics available for each post?

@BeAware ah that's a shame, wonder if there's any plans to incorporate some kind of metrics in official mastodon. Would be handy.

@aral why not just add both? I think they're different enough to both warrant being included imho.
