I am wondering whether the original Silver was better in that regard. I think you just gave your character a name and looked like Ash, and ash can be read as any gender I suppose. Don’t remember if one was addressed by name or with he/him pronouns…

@shibao @kaia hmmm, good point. where I was in Sweden there were loads of crows yes. But their noise does not bother me. They reassure me that my corpse will be feasted upon in no time if I fail on my hike. But I like that constant chatter of nature. Vehicle noises are something that reminds me of the dystopia I live in. :akko_think2:

@kaia @shibao yes, you can always hear the rhythmic „wave sounds“ of the autobahn on most forest hikes, that’s true. :/

@shibao @kaia no, I mean, when I’m in the wild and go to sleep I sorta miss the constant background noise, if you know what I mean. My brain is just so used to a high base level of noise. It’s sad actually.

@shibao @kaia I only dislike motorcycles because of the sometimes very unsettling sound (maybe cause some roar like a wild animal I wanna fight/ run from) as especially drivers who rev their engine next to pedestrians or squeeze in between lanes.
But car drivers can do the same.

Just ban noisy vehicles all together. Make them all electric or something. It’s so crazy when I go camping in the woods how I suddenly miss the „ocean sounds“ of traffic noise pollution I am so used to. :akko_derp:

@twinspin6 @kaia ich habe neulich erst gelernt, das Bayern, dessen Bevölkerung wohl größtenteils zum Deutschen Reich gehören wollte, nur durch eine Schmiergeldzahlung von Bismarck an Ludwig II., der keinen Kaiser wollte, beitrat.
Das Schmiergeld wurde dringend benötigt um so einen Quatsch wie Schloß Neuschwanstein zu bauen.
