    This is a great video about avoiding fallacies in benchmarking, specifically around Kotlin. One thing they used during tests is a "blackhole" object to make sure that compilers don't optimize away code from loops. The implementation goes back to a GPL2 licensed one in the JVM. I wonder if it would make sense to port that to Dart.     A far right party founded by former SS members wins the largest voting block in Austria. We’ve made progress fighting the fascists in some places but so many battles ahead.     @goatsarah Are you referring to Relatica? For TestFlight apps you just need to go into the TestFlight app and hit the "install" button. On my phone all the data transferred over properly so I didn't have to do any re-logins or anything after the app was re-installed via TestFlight. The above problem is for a different app I wrote for myself. Ironically it initially did have its login credentials carried over but for some reason it logged itself out yesterday and I can't remember the password at all.

    Nothing like accidentally forgetting the password for your own app to jump start you into writing the "forgot password" workflow to said app...and if you can recover your password from your backend because you have god access to all data then your security is broken. #programming

    I’m a little fed up with the Snap managed Hugo updates breaking my site. The theme hasn’t changed. None of my templates changed. Yet now some Google Analytics stub, which I don’t use BTW, prevents the site from building. I think I’m going to just go with binary download and lock in the version.
