@jwildeboer when I was a young guy in my first engineering job I had a habit of asking presenters when they used an acronym unknown to me, as I genuinely wanted to learn.
It could be rather awkward as they often didn't know. It made me ensure that I always knew what the ones I used stood for to avoid that embarrassment.
