@WarnerCrocker Basically, yeah. Which is kind of hilarious. It’s like how Christmas stuff starts in September now.

I once again reserve the right to poke fun at Canadian retailers for offering Black Friday sales.

Canadian Thanksgiving is in October.

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the United States.

It does not occur in the middle of November in Canada unless you happen to own a Time Machine and a Star Trek transporter. 😛

I feared this would happen. I have no words. 😔

Please don’t take my cheerful timeline the wrong way. If you need to rant today on your account, I totally understand.

But talking about fluffy topics like nature, books, and animals are coping mechanism I have found quite helpful for the hard things in life I’ve quietly dealt with over the years.

Now back to tooting and boosting distracting things.

I’m starting the nature photos tonight instead of tomorrow because I think Mastodon needs more distractions. (Or at least my corner of it does!)

In the before times, I used to enjoy horror movies about pandemics. It was interesting to see how characters reacted to an invisible threat.

Some characters were sensible and took precautions while others threw caution to the wind.

I do not enjoy this genre anymore. 😬
