With the slightest movement in their environment—the flashing of a shadow, perhaps—they become vicious, homicidal monsters… But they revert to cuddle mode after being given cat treats and left alone to mope for a while.

@Tony @IgnorantHussy @rees @Chiva @Humpleupagus Oh, I’m so sorry. I totally get it, too. I’m more of a snake mom, but my family had several cats that passed away due to old age as I grew up. One of them in particular… It was very sad. But she lived a good life. It sounds like you took care of your kitty—and you should be proud of that fact. In college I did some volunteer work at the SPCA. It always broke my heart to see how hurt some of those cats and dogs were. They all deserve loving homes.
