2/2) Amendment II. They never dreamed that technology would advance to create incredibly deadly weapons designed only for war, and that the Supreme Court would be stupid enough to ignore the "well-regulated militia" language and think that the founders had the original intent for such warfare to break out in our streets, schools, houses of worship, and everywhere else that people congregate.

Yes, our founding fathers were brilliant, but today's utter stupidity has outsmarted them.

Article II. They never imagined that Americans would be stupid enough to consider electing a convicted felon to be President, so it's not proscribed in the Constitution.

I used to think he was the closest thing I've ever seen to the antichrist. But the vehemence of the support he gets from otherwise good people tells me that maybe he really IS the antichrist. 2/2) Trump will destroy US democracy while doing Putin’s bidding against Ukraine.

But if Trump loses or isn’t even nominated, then Putin just might resort to a preemptive nuclear assault. We in Houston might be his first target, to knock out the capital of US energy.

I absolutely hope I’m completely mistaken. I just don’t want to be guilty of a failure of imagination.

2/2) Please spare me the "we've always had floods and tornadoes" rhetoric. True that. The question is: Are they more severe and more frequent? Time will tell.

I guess we're all in the gambling business now. Personally, I think future generations will never forgive ours for our relentless inaction.

1/2) If -- keyword "if" -- climate change is making flooding and tornadoes more severe and more frequent, then I guess we already do have a Carbon Tax. It's called insurance premiums. Sad thing is that more and more insurance companies are dropping coverage altogether for many regions. So instead of a small Carbon Tax for all, it's now a huge risk exposure for some.

#VladimirPutin must be absolutely thrilled by how much ROI continues to accrue from his 2016 #Facebook ads to help elect #Trump, to say nothing of the hooker tapes he's probably holding over Trump's head.

#DonaldTrump has no official powers left and might soon be in shackles, but he's already turned the #GOP into the absolute best weapon that #Russia now commands.
