     2/2) Trump will destroy US democracy while doing Putin’s bidding against Ukraine.

     But if Trump loses or isn’t even nominated, then Putin just might resort to a preemptive nuclear assault. We in Houston might be his first target, to knock out the capital of US energy.

     I absolutely hope I’m completely mistaken. I just don’t want to be guilty of a failure of imagination.

     God forbid. And despite the above, God forbid that Trump wins. I'll take my chances on nukes.
