Housing costs can be moved dramatically by a small amount of people with a lot of money. We saw this happen all over the US during covid. Folks don't really get this drives up everything b/c if you think about it rents affects businesses and they have to raise prices to keep up, so up goes groceries, supplies, eating out, movies etc

I tried to find a larger study of this but was not successful. I need to look again one of these days.

@inthehands I would prefer giving folks more details and then at least there is full disclosure.

I don't think you did it purposely but I felt like you glanced over some details that were worth pointing out.

Especially the tax side of things b/c that may not become apparent till next year and it could be an unpleasant surprise for some folks who have not traded much.

Again, it all depends on your goals, so it may not matter to many folks.

Folks feel more productive but actual objective measures say otherwise.

It is never about lines of code produced that is a silly measure by itself.

It is really about how many errors make it into production. If using AI code generators means a lot more bad code makes into production you are making a very poor tradeoff.

The interview makes clear, as like abortion, or birth control. Getting rid of no-fault divorce is about control.

Allowing for no fault divorce lead to a dramatic increase in the well being of women.

Removing it would have the opposite effect.

When conservatives talk about "tradition" this is a code for control.

Our parents and grandparents fought these battles why are we here again?

If you have to basically verify everything then what is the point? I can see how it may point you in the right direction and that could be helpful but it could easily do the opposite as well.
