Indeed, the more I keep replaying the interview it will yield many more insights which can be overlooked if one only views and listens once. I think the Russians are very fortunate to have competent leadership and even though I'll have to be content with knowing them from afar, I've come to care deeply about them, their culture, their pragmatism, toughness and resolve. Indeed, I'm beginning to think that way about all our, alleged, former enemies and adversaries.

techriot@ミ★ Confederate Space Force ★彡 also, I'd like to add that I've made an mp3 file out of the video for future absorption and that far from being lost by Putin's history lesson, at the beginning of the interview, I loved it. That mp3 file, incidentally, is only 44 MB, and is the entire two hour plus interview, which is fascinating. I've always loved the subject of history as, whether true, false or accurate, history is a story and if there's one thing that all humans love, a story, especially a good one is paramount on any list. Long before humans knew the concept of reading, writing or perhaps, even mastered fire, stories have always been with them. I think.
Another thing, in retrospect, I liked the polite conversational tone of the interview too. It was like a podcast and I loved how Puting remained polite and diplomatic while talking about men who hate him. It was expected, however, it was quite a contrast to the arrogance and rudeness that one often gets, from some politicians from the west.
@Marshall Sutherland (Posting with Hubzilla) so in essence, they're delegating their thinking, then? I know such people, indeed, they themselves, think themselves, some of the most wise. I don't see it myself, but I'm a sceptic and a cynic, by nature.
I love doing my own thinking though, since doing so, may indeed, stave off atrophy. That's my rationale anyway. I think, that thinking and shifting the different possibilities of any focused topic, or subject, may be one of my favorite pastimes. The thought of having someone else or indeed, something else taking over that duty, is an uncomfortable one, one bordering on paralysis.

@Marshall Sutherland (Posting with Hubzilla) that's a fair point. I've also been observing, that many people, think that reading a book is some kind of a race to the finish. Many, simply rush through all the books that they read and then, when quizzed by anyone familiar with the materials read, the readers come up lacking, since they rushed past pertinent details.
Books, are there to be read multiple times since there are many points, details and hints, that are overlooked, through casual reading. It is the very reason why many people take notes, so that they may have reminders which may be revisited and revised when necessary. I think the greater point is, that many people go through their lives skimming over the details and never quite understanding the situations around them.

techriot@ミ★ Confederate Space Force ★彡 you see, that's exactly the point I was making. You're very astute. I hate when people make generalities about how little many people do pay attention, to anything happening around them, but you're right. One doesn't have to venture too far outside one's home or one's immediate surroundings, to realize that nobody is paying attention to anything except their smart TV sets and their cell phones. Many people are indifferent, clueless, apathetic and there is no way to reach them. I think that's just the way things are going to be, in this age, until it comes to its end.
@kuchinster blacks are the obvious puppets of all the puppet masters. They are the proverbial rolling stones which gather no moss, moving from one fad to the next, never being grounded in solid ideas but just keep adapting and adopting the fashion of the day. Indeed, as a people they make very little hay while the sun shines.
I'm sure I'm a racist now for pointing that out, probably a jew hater too, for agreeing with @kuchinster. However, anyone with little self respect, or self worth is a likely candidate to be led by more conscious aware men, for good or ill.
As the Gateway Pundit reported, The House of Representatives for the SECOND Time failed to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
@Rogue Runner that's a good point with the Netanyahu, Gaza analogy. The EU has delusions of being some hegemonic superstate and it's a dream that's going to turn all their worst fears into a very real life, nightmare, where their every fear, is going to become manifest. I love Europe the land and I'm sure that the majority of the people are decent. However, the same can never be said, of those whom they elect and or select to chart their courses.
