@Vee McMillen I think you're right and many people who watched the interview, who didn't know what to expect from Putin, will be likewise impressed by his respectful, calm, diplomatic demeanor. In the short term, that may not readily be the noticeable case, but over time,  people who start paying attention, may become conscious of this.

Indeed, the more I keep replaying the interview it will yield many more insights which can be overlooked if one only views and listens once. I think the Russians are very fortunate to have competent leadership and even though I'll have to be content with knowing them from afar, I've come to care deeply about them, their culture, their pragmatism, toughness and resolve. Indeed, I'm beginning to think that way about all our, alleged, former enemies and adversaries.
