The advancement of evil is a lot like technological progress I’ve noticed. You start off with sticks and stones, small kinds of evil. And as time goes on we move from the Stone Age of Evil to other things that allow us to commit evil more easily. More evil gets passed, and that just makes it easier for even more evil to be justified.
