@skinnylatte thought provoking, indeed, for someone who labors for bay area gains from the confines of a Desi home, and what it means for my society at large. This will change my mind eventually, dunno how/when

@inthehands when I wrote up an internal note at work about troubleshooting bugs a while ago, I described it as the ability to reason about what the author of the code intended vs what the code written actually does. Your thread makes me realise that intent cannot be guessed without understanding people!

@dansup will this be enabled full time, or will admins have options to toggle it? For some folks, accessing the Internet through self hosted VPNs on cloud machines is a Good Thing. Not sure how large a percentage of the current pixelfed user base it'll be though
